Kishorit is an integrative community of 140 members, staff and volunteers, located in the Galilee region of Israel. The Kishorit members live with physical, mental, emotional and/or learning challenges, and are building productive, meaningful and fulfilling lives in a unique framework.

What is different about Kishorit?

The uniqueness of Kishorit is due to the initiative given to the people we serve. The lives of the community members are managed by the members themselves, with back-tier support from professional staff, volunteers and family.

Kishorit members:

• participate fully in communal life and social relationships.
• make key decisions as autonomous adults in their private lives.
